My journey through motherhood — from C-section birth to miscarriage — became the soil where Herb & Hide first took root

I gave birth to my son through a C-section and later walked through the heartbreak of miscarriage. My body carried both joy and grief. And through it all, I craved skincare that honored the rawness and resilience of motherhood — products that didn’t just work, but felt safe, grounding, and real.

So many modern products are filled with toxins, synthetic fragrances, and unnecessary fillers. I wanted something different. Something ancestral. Something mothers could trust on their postpartum bellies, on their babies, and on their hearts.
